APEEF Race
APEEF Race
This event is for all adults in our school community: parents, teachers and staff!! Once or twice per year we take part in a 10K race at Gunnersbury Park. Everybody who is a keen runner or just wants to set themselves a little challenge is welcome to join the team. Our goal is to share a good time together. It doesn’t matter how fast or how slow we are… participating and keeping active is what motivates us!
Fundraising
In parallel to the race, we organise some fundraising and ask everyone to support our team of runners. The money raised goes to the central APEEF pot that is used to finance activities or equipment for our children at school.
Volunteer Team
One APEEF member is in charge of the organisation of the race:
Creating a team on the race website so that everybody from the JP community can join the team
Communicating about the event via a few emails to parents and staff
Organising a meeting point on the day as well as a group picture
